A coalition of professional pianists (NOT teachers, who should be excluded due to potential conflict of interest), professional musicians who are NOT pianists, music critics and members of the concert-going public might provide a more balanced point of view, if all of the above would be willing to sit through every moment of a competition (which can last for 10-14 days).
