Got to agree with the majority. What animals considered acceptable to eat or not, keep as a pet or as a work animal is mainly a cultural matter. My concerns would be; are they endangered and were they treated humanely whilst being reared/slaughtered. If your a meat eater then you shouldn't tell others which meats should/shouldn't be eaten. Having said that I might have a bit of a problem eating ape as that is too close to comfort. However if a survivor of a plane crash on a remote snowy mountain range with the only source of food being other fellow non-survivors; I think I'd have done what they did; not my idea of a normal Sunday roast mind.
